Tyninghame Tepees

Over the last few weeks loads of planks of wood have been washed up on East Lothian beaches. They fell off a cargo vessel called the Freesian Lady off North Shields on March 2nd and have been landing lothian and borders beaches ever since. Quite a few beachcombers have shown their creativity by leaning them against each other in the shape of a tepee. This is the best one I have seen to date when I was walking the dogs with a friend and her grandson on Tyninghame Beach. I was grateful for the possible blip as the visibility this morning was down to about 50 metres and is now as low as 20 metres. I do hope the forecast of sunnier times ahead next week does prove to be right.
