Frosted green

Very luckily for me I have a fellow moth catcher who traps the other side of the town I live in, and a couple of nights ago he caught no less than 4 of these stunning Frosted green moths. He very kindly allowed me to take a couple home with me so I could photograph them before returning them to where he had caught them the following day. Thank you so much Graham.
Feeding on Oak the Frosted green Polypioca ridens, is well distributed in the southern half of the UK and flies in April and May, personally I love it's colour and amazing haircut.
