San Lorenzo

The church of San Lorenzo in Gijón dating from 1896.

The attractive tiled pergola and pond in front of the church has been undergoing repair at a very slow pace. The repairs were already in progress back in April when I took this blip in it's dry pond back in April.

Normally, as Christmas approaches, a tent is erected within the pergola. Here the page of the three kings, Baltasar, Melchor and Gaspar, receives the local children and takes note of their Christmas requests.
