Boreham Wood 4 Chester FC 2

Chester put up a good fight in losing 4-2 to Boreham Wood but the big news concerned Chester’s caretaker manager. During the week they made the shocking decision to dismiss Marcus Bignot. I could talk for ages on why it was such a bad decision but suffice to say youth team manager Calum McIntyre has been put in charge for the last 3 games. At the age of 24 we believe he may be the youngest ever manager of a professional football team

Calum is an excellent coach but he certainly doesn’t want the managers job at the moment. Nevertheless he can be proud of the job he did today and this is him doing the post match interview.

His best quote was that the first problem he had was that he was too young to drive the minibus to training
