Hopping on and off

A day off from driving for me, we've covered all the island. We went into Funchal and caught the red sightseeing bus that allowed us to hop on and off. 

We did the whole tour to start with, then hopped off at the municipal gardens. A gentle wander through the streets back to the market, which unfortunately had closed by the time we got there, didn't get that right. We hopped back on the bus and went up to another panoramic garden, then hopped off and walked back down through the garden to the bus stop. We both have a lot of pictures of flowers.

The taxis line the streets in Funchal, our mode of transport is just coming in to view. 

It was a gloriously sunny day and rather warm too. I'm not complaining!
