Not Such an Early Bird.

I was very pleased with myself today as I managed to get up at 5:30 this morning to join Mr PB on the monthly Wetland Bird Survey, which he has taken on single-handedly since I've been ill. I didn't complete the full survey but I walked 3 miles - my furthest for quite a while. The forecast was for a sunny start. That didn't materialise, but it was milder and dry, so I enjoyed it. It was only later that the sun came out and this Redpoll arrived in the garden for a light lunch of nyger seed.
