Official Opening Ceremony

We had the Official Opening Ceremony for Merlin's Bridge today. Russ' wife, Pam, was driven over by Land Rover. We had placed a tea towel over the sign for her to "un-drape". Pam was thrilled to bits as it brought back so many memories for her. She, her husband and their previous dogs had walked this path many times and this particular ditch was always treacherous. The bridge was built in the autumn of last year - see my entry 26/11/17.
