Snowy Drive

It was THAT time of year again.  For the past 20ish years, I have attended a Conference in the middle of my State....only missing 2 different years.  It is a fun time, and I both loath and look forward to it for different reasons.  

After a fairly long day at work, a co-worker and I headed out.  We had a book on CD, and enjoyed listening to the story as we drove through the changes in scenery.  We went from rain forest.....to burn down snowy forest (pictured), to desert. We had a nice dinner on the road, and arrived in the late evening.  

Sugar went home with a friend who so graciously will be housing her while I'm away.  I'm sure they will have fun.
