Pasty heaven
'What you mean, Cornish folk eat pasties for breakfast?'
Whenever he comes up Uncle Keith always brings up a load of traditional Cornish pasties with him. In truth Esther's not keen on the things but don't tell Uncle Keith.
Pasties always remind me of weekends away to Newquay in my twenties with Nic and Claire. We always used to stop off on the way home to get pasties for the journey and then the cornershop for the necessary bottle of tomato sauce. Living the dream we were!
Reasons to be cheerful:
Beef cob and chips at the Red Lion with Dad, Keith and the girls. It's been a beige day on the food front. Greens tomorrow.
