Bodnant Garden

It was an overcast day but Bodnant Garden (near Conwy) is always stunning, no matter what the weather.

I had an excuse to visit - I was on route to my niece's and she lives in Wales.  The fact that she lives just over the border, not far from Whitchurch, makes the detour via Conwy rather a long one, but it didn't seem that important.  I had a great day at Bodnant Garden, and then in Conwy.

I deliberately did not take my laptop with me in order to test my new 'on the move' backup system - which worked very well.  But it meant that I could not process any raw files whilst I was away for the weekend - not that it would have been very sociable to do so, anyway.
