Mummies!

I never did find Egyptian mummies remotely scarey, not even as a kid watching old RKO horror movies on BBC2. I mean, it must be pretty sad being chased and caught by something with bandages wrapped around its legs. And since the arms are similarly wrapped, there couldn't be much in the way of attacking options. At least if mummies were wrapped in the manner as these menacing examples seen at tonight's Hallowe'en party.
