The return of the bees

Bumblebees are not designed to fly. Its body is too heavy for its light wings, wings that should not be able to keep it in the air. Bumblebees refuse to accept their limitations. It flies in spite of what it’s been told it cannot do. It knows it’s strength. Be a bumblebee.

I have no idea where this quote comes from but I like it. It ties in with my family crest, a bee on a thistle. My family motto: Dulcius Ex Asperis (Sweeter after difficulties). It is lovely to see the return of the bees. I do hope the bumblebee nest which has been under my house for the last few years returns for this summer. We must protect these amazing little insects. Without them, there would be no us.
