Weir on the River Tame in Stockport

I'd noticed a signpost to the Trans-Pennine way on an earlier trip to Stockport, so this time I brought a camera along to have a quick recce. Trees beginning to turn, but this weir on the river caught my eye, so that's what you get. (Sorry its late ... I'm sure I posted it on the right day, but obviously must have missed a step!) I'll revisit the area on another day when I'm not supposed to be out shopping!
