Beauty is all around us.

Garden beauties.

A new week begins and so far it is cloudy with the sun attempting to come through.
I took these photos yesterday afternoon, so please forgive me.
There has not been time to go out searching for material, as I am busy with laundry and ironing.
It is the Feast Day of St. Bernadette, a well loved saint in the Christian calendar.
St. Bernadette is the patron saint of the sick, but she was declared to be a saint in 1933 because of her commitment to simplicity, integrity and trust in God. This lowly saint, who lived as a nun, is known for her visions of Mother Mary at Massabielle, Lourdes in France.
Modern believers tend not always to invoke the saints, yet we can learn so much of spiritual value from their example and charitable lives.
I hope we all have good weather as the week goes on.
