a lifetime burning

Mono Monday: Contrast

Today was one of those days when I got lots of things done, many of them really useful things, but practically all of them not the things that I wanted to get done today.  This is much less about my ability to prioritise and rather more about others needing assistance one way or another.

But as a result I now find myself, at 9:30pm this evening, taking a shot of a clockwork metronome and a more modern battery operated version that can do all sorts of horrible time signatures.  Its more than a bit of an emergency blip to be honest, but sometimes we can only do what we can do.
