Winter flies in the face of Spring

It’s the annual, ritual battle. Spring and Winter fight each other with wooden swords - mummers in the market square where, at the Winter Solstice, Saint George defeats the Dragon and the red-faced Devil himself. And, every year, the result is the same, Spring is Victorious and the shoppers clap, politely, while winter retreats, licking its wounds.

But this year will be different. This year, Winter’s sword is of cold steel. This year belongs to Winter.
