Red sky at night!

Red sky at night, shepherd’s delight!
And why? Because a red sky often signifies a fine day to follow!
But the forecast for tomorrow is - rain!!
Our pond was emptied today, and all the newts were carefully removed and taken to a natural pond near Cadbury Castle. A few went to a neighbours pond, so all are safe.
Some of the plants will live in a large tub, including a water lily.
But the pond will be filled with new soil and become a flower bed. It was really too small to be viable and took a great deal of work to keep it clean and healthy. There is more than enough to do in our garden!!
