Helping At The Library Book Sale

I spent two hours by the cash register at the library book sale. Positioned in the Iibrary main hall, I witnessed an amazing amount and variety of life around me - which made me feel very much alive and awake!

Here are some of the most memorable individuals:

A talkative and suspicious man who praised Italian black and white films. ("Just think about Hiroshima and Nagasaki - how everything can vanish in a second.")

A child saying "wow, we're in the library" when entering.

Three dogs with their owners arriving to listen to small children reading aloud.

Two drunken men apologizing their "distinct habitus" though they do have university degrees. ("Do you know how much it costs to take a taxi to the place X? Nevermind, it doesn't matter, we do have money.")
