Isle of Skye - over 30 years on.

If you look at my posts you’ll see I turned 60 on 1 April. My wife, two sons and partners arranged a trip to the Isle of Skye as a surprise Birthday gift. Simply the best. My love affair with Skye started in the 1970s when I stayed not far from here. So, nowhere else to head to upon arrival but Elgol......the 1980s original couldn’t be completely recreated as the pier head now has a wee boat hire business. We took lots of photos this evening, and just soaked up the views. It was so nice to be back. There have been times recently when I thought I’d never be able to return.
