Salford Quays

After a morning tending to my olds, we went off up to Salford Quays for the afternoon/evening.

We were going to The Lowry to see Mary Stuart. A play by Friedrich Schiller about Mary Queen of Scots last days. Actresses Juliet Stevenson and Mia Williams play the leading roles of Queen Mary and Queen Elizabeth I. The twist is that whoever plays each role is decided with the toss of a coin at the start of the play.

We had a meal out before the play and a wander round the Quays for me to take some photos.
