First Peacock Butterfly

Although the peacock butterflies are quite common in Europe, we rarely see them around our village so I was very happy to see this rather tatty specimen when I was gardening this morning. Good job I hadn't pulled up that weed!

Thanks for all the chamois gifts yesterday. I am going up to the glacier again on Friday hoping to get better shots.
