View through an open doorway

Sadly there was no sunshine today but it was very mild and there was no wind ..... ideal conditions for a walk.

L and I headed down the M77 to Dumfries House Estate. After our coffee and shared cherry scone we set off for a walk through the arboretum to the walled garden. The gardeners (employed by The Prince's Trust) were working tirelessly sprucing up the flower beds and giving the trees a good mulch.

There are a number of new attractions that we have yet to explore and one or two more in the pipeline. The wall in the extras shows the Temple Gate which was restored in 2016.
