Beauty...ful Day

After a good nights sleep we were up, not quite as early as we had planned......the weather wasnt as good as forecast either :-/

Once we'd had breakfast we took a drive over to Dunham Massey Deer Park in the hope the weather improved as the day went along......and boy did it!

Our first circuit around the park was under grey skies. We called in the Stables for a coffee and a bite of lunch and by the time we came sky was blue, the sun was out and the temperature has risen by a good few degrees :-)

Took lots of shots, but settled on this one as I think it shows what a "beautiful" day its been and hopefully its wide vista will be good enough for Bobsblips Wide Wednesday challenge.

As we drove home having done 12k+ steps the temperature was a lovely 23 degrees.

The garden beckoned when we got home, so we spent a couple of hours weeding, pottering, tirming this and that, nothing to strenuous, thats been saved for tomorrow, all being well!

For dinner we had pan seared salmon, with a white wine, lemon juice, parsley, shallot and butter sauce, with new potatoes and salad, perfect for a lovely spring evening.

Hope you managed to enjoy some sunshine this evening at least, for those of you who have to work ;-)
