Army 2 - 2 Police

This evening, my student, her mother and I saw the former army team (CSKA Sofia) and the former police team (Levski Sofia) play out a 2-2 draw. I've never heard 10,000 people create such an atmosphere, particularly given that the stadium was only a quarter full. It wasn't all positive: there was a lot of aggression, and when things kicked off in our stand after two red cards were given out near the end [see extras], I could understand why they needed so many riot police, with a water cannon parked outside if things got really bad after the game. But, it was so exciting, and all in the shadow of Vitosha!

Earlier in the day, A and K returned to Scotland, and I moved into the apartment I'll be using for the next week.
