Nuraghe Su Nuraxi

On the last full day of our holiday we went to see this Nuraghe. It’s a complex Nuraghe and its relics resemble a huge fortress. It was - like all the others - erected ca. 1340 years B.C. from giant stones and it’s still not clear how they did it nor what the real purpose was. This complex was only discovered in the 1930s. It looked like one of the soft round hills in this region.
