Glentress

This year the boys and I gave Steven a birthday present of a morning's mountain bike tuition at Glentress in the Borders. We all had a great time and learned loads from an excellent instructor.

Steven and the boys took to it like ducks to water. I however surpassed them all by learning how to do a perfect somersault down a hillside, balance (briefly) a bike on my chin by it's rear wheel whilst I bounced off a rock and into a small tree.

I'd show you the spectacular bruises but you'd just get jealous at how talented I am at stopping short of serious injury. And yes, I got back on my bike and managed to finish the lesson before limping back to the cafe.
