Blackbird

I caught this blackbird (female, juvenile) in the light of the late afternoon. Helas I had to make the picture through the backdoor window. The glass of the patio door is not conducive to the sharpness. But I had to choose for this or no result at all.

I read that this common and conspicuous species has given rise to a number of literary and cultural references, frequently related to its song ... ;)
