Tuesday: Strathcona Hotel

I had to do a quick overnighter in Victoria so flew over on the seaplane this afternoon. It was a little bumpy today which left me feeling a tad queasy.

The purpose of my trip was to attend an event at the Empress Hotel. In a few weeks, I would have been able to get back on the same evening as the seaplanes fly by sight and, therefore, only during daylight hours, but it wasn't possible to get back today.

This wasn't where I stayed but I quite liked the architecture.
