it had been a while


It was a short notice thing: I phoned my Dad on Tuesday, knowing they'd been in Brittany for a few days and a good thing I did, too: they couldn't on either Thursday or Friday and on Saturday they're driving South again. :-)

A simple meal and good talk, all you need to spend a good time. They hadn't seen Julie since September (she was at the hospital when I spent Christmas with them) and they found us both in good spirits, which made them happy - Mum said so.
