Finally, some seven weeks after taking a small trip and ending up in hospital, then having an operation, my third cast came off today. Arm looks puffy and sore, and is fairly weak and immobile so a few weeks of physiotherapy will be needed. X-ray showed bone nicely healed beneath its metal supports, the consultant said.
