Won't be long

Until the Clematis Montana is bursting forth on our fence. 

Another fabulous day today but a bit too hot at the Garden Centre and in Hobbycraft especially.  H and I had a spot of lunch there and then I called in on friends who had just had their beloved dog Chloe put to sleep after a short but severe illness.  It was a hard visit and anyone who has ever owned and loved any animal knows the end is a very sad time.  But we all agreed that Chloe had had a full and happy 11 years and enjoyed her time with her wonderful owners.  I shall miss her too, always there to greet you with a loud welcome!
