A national treasure - the MV Glenachulish.

Farewell Skye. We took the ferry from Kylerhea to Glenelg. It’s the last known manual turntable ferry in the world; absolutely worth supporting by making the effort to get to it. Then onwards towards Ratagan and the Five Sisters of Kintail on a beautiful day. The sun was out till after lunch in Fort William. Then the run home via the usual coffee and toilet stops.
The trip was excellent and I’m indebted to my family - it was something beyond me I felt. It all worked so well. I’m encouraged to try something else now.....
