Abstract Thursday - Impressionism

A gloriously hot sunny day, I decided to head for Bystock pond as the small bridge over the water reminded me of a Monet painting when the water is covered in waterlilies.  It was a different matter today with fairly harsh light and just a few waterlilies scattered sparsely.  The hard winter must have taken its toll or maybe I am too early.  Anyway tried a few different effect to to give a dappled effect.
