Into the woods

A lovely sunny start to the day, and so Ollie and I had another walk around the shore and out to the point passed the chapel.  Such a friendly area, everyone chats and is seems a really nice place.  A shame to leave so soon.

A lot of driving today as we headed north.  Mrs Satnav likes to take us on shortcuts, on little used byways and single track lanes.  She will then tell us that places don't exist or offer us a route that is wildly off course, but ignoring the direct one.  She is going to be replaced!  Still, we saw a lot of wonderful scenery, a couple of deer, sadly plenty of rain, but couldn't actually find some of the places we were looking for!

One of our favourite things about being away with the campervan is staying overnight in the woods.  Hearing the birds in the morning, listening to the wind in the trees, the bosky smell of woodland and forest, moss and lichen and ferns.  We always try and have at least one night in a wood or forest, and tonight we managed it!
