Basking in the sun

Gorgeous day here today, picked Thomas up from nursery and stopped off at the park so he could show me his ‘new park’ (the old park has had a bit of a makeover). Then home for lunch and out to etherow to feed the ducks. I had hoped there might be some of the baby ducklings about but although lots of the adults were acting very protectively the babies were hidden away.
This greylag goose stood enjoying the sunshine looking very pleased with itself.
