A proud cock-pheasant

In the cool of the evening a brace of pheasants came wandering round our garden.  The cock was a very fine bird indeed and I think he new it!  The pheasant originally came from China and is bred in England for shooting, many becoming wild here in the meantime.

Another day of constant gardening.  The lawn is now finished and needs raking as the grass was long!
