Tulips

At last everything in the garden has begun flowering. The fruit trees are in blossom so hopefully we will have some tasty apples, pears and plums later in the year. Even the ground in the chicken field is sprouting green grass shoots.

It's been another very hot day which we spent outside. Lunch in the garden with a bottle of rose - followed by an afternoon nap in the sunshine.
The rest of the day was spent on gardening jobs including cleaning all the outdoor furniture.

By Monday the temperature will drop and our brief "summer " will be over.
