Driftwood

There is regularly lots of stuff thrown up on Quendale (and the other) beaches at the south end of Shetland - lots of plastic and often chunks of wood too.  

Don't remember seeing anything this big for a while (c. 5 m end-to-end) - and very dense wood (too heavy for us to move!).  It certainly didn't come from any of the trees around Shetland.
