Spring!!

Although it has been beautiful, today was the day I managed to photograph my first garden bee fly of 2018! and as you can see he was quite a poser, just hovering about holding onto his long tongue with his long legs.
Out and about I saw huge numbers of Early purple orchids just about to erupt into flower, (see extra 1). an amazing and very friendly pet ferret called Binky (see extra 2) and the wonderful combination of Rape fields and bluebells - just so amazing! (see extra 3)
