The tulip season has begun

All the many tulips have started to flower. The day was initially gloriously sunny and they opened their faces towards the sun.

Later in the day the clouds rolled in but it was still warm. I briefly did some gardening before taking Murphy to the vets. His paw is a lot better but he has another three days of antibiotics just to check that it is fully healed.

My sister had made a lamp for some local friends so HtP and I delivered it and stayed and chatted over two cups of tea.

We started to walk the dogs in the dry but as we walked the rains started and then there was thunder and lightning. It went on for several hours with a large amount of rain. I’m so pleased that I did some gardening today.
