Sunday Drive

A beautiful day to be in the outdoors.  We intended to drive down the Motueka Valley and that's where we passed these harvested hop fields.  The unintended was to turn left and cross the Motueka River and drive up a narrow road track to the Flora car park which is the start of the Mt Arthur and Tablelands walking tracks in the Kahurangi National Park.  The carpark was full so a lot of people were enjoying Earth Day in the great outdoors.  The extra shows the typical bush cover of beech trees.  2nd extra a friendly weka enjoying the sun.
