What is that stile for??

A full morning with baptisms. I then had half an hour to change and grab a bite to eat before we set off up to Brockholes for our parish walk. For once it didn't rain, in fact the weather got brighter and warmer as we walked. It was a great walk, although my injured knee from holiday didn't like going down 230 steep steps! As usual we finished the walk with a pub meal. There was a lot of fun and laughter, a super group.

We did wonder what this stile was for considering there is no fence and a wide footpath next to it!
