Another lovely day - but the temperature has plummeted to a mere 17°C

A pleasing weirdness overnight! Windows, in their beneficence, gave me an update. My CD/DVD reader/writer is back up & running having been invisible & unusable for the last week.

Thank you Windows! Never thought I'd ever say that!
