Patriotism: every year our son-in-law and his cronies get together on 23rd April to ‘celebrate’ St George’s Day, they all don their red ties, red roses and a ‘flag of St George’ pin and descend on a town where they then drink their way round the local hostelreys.

Slightly ironically this year they are taking their red roses around York the city of the white rose (apologies to any residents - just in case....)

They were very quick to congratulate Kate on her patriotism managing to give birth to the new little Prince on St George’s day and thought it would be brilliant if they (William and Kate) named the new baby Prince George. Think they’re missing something somewhere.......
