Katydid.....

.....my maple was mostly in shade this morning, there was just one small branch lit by sunlight upon which this little Katydid had traveled to the end just so he could bask in autumn sunlight. As the sun moved during the day the whole maple became lit but this wise little Katydid knew exactly where he could sunbathe for the whole day.....yes, right on the very tip of this one branch, clever!

Tiny Tuesday's theme is travel.......I'm busy in the garden these days with the autumn clean-up, this is the best I could come up with for today's theme, think I would've blipped him regardless of the day or not. Also not a true macro as it's taken with the new Sony RX10 M4.
