C's whole office went to their London office for a meeting. Lots of time, money and carbon footprints spent for something which could have been done by skype. At least they were engaged for 6 or so hours with different aspects dealt with by different speakers and activities chaired by outside parties. Other than our office traveling 3 hours to and from Cambridge for a 70 minute talk by one person. And then your name gets put on a black list if you leave your computer screen on over night.
