Tucking in!

More sunshine, albeit pretty chilly.  I was back in boots and jacket until I could get out of the wind, but it did mean that the washing dried in super quick time.  Sheets and pillow cases are always so much nicer after a good blow on the line!

Ollie and I spent a while along at the hens, cleaning out their house and tidying up.  These two are Welsummers.  The chap who sold them to me told me one was too dark to be a good show bird or breed from and the other was being bullied.  They have settled down well, and are both laying lovely big speckled brown eggs.  Needless to say Bonny the bantam will have nothing to do with them . . . !
