Day 114/18. Not another Bluebell picture....

Its Bluebell season here in the UK and many are out enjoying the spectacular blue display in our woodlands.
But be careful out there.......there lurks evil. Ticks. Evil things.
Ticks are spider-like, egg-shaped, blood-sucking creepy crawlies. They have eight legs and vary in size from about 1mm to 1cm long. Adult ticks look a bit like small spiders. This one I found today on a Bluebell was perhaps 4mm, a juvenile.
Ticks are common in woodland, grassland and heath areas, but can also be found in your garden if you live in an area with lots of wildlife. You are most likely to come across them in areas with lots of deer or sheep.
They don't jump, fly or drop, but just wait......waiting for a human or a dog to brush past.....then........
Take care in the woods, fellow photographers......there can lurk evil.
