Got the bus to the Festival Theatre to buy some tickets for a couple of shows. Got tickets to take my mother in law to see Russell Watson which happens to be on my birthday and my friend and I are going to see the Calendar Girls musical.

I then walked to the National Library to see the Muriel Spark exhibition which finishes on the 13th May. It was an enjoyable way to spend an hour or so. Following in the footsteps of blipper, Lady Findhorn, I then went to John Lewis to use my voucher for a free coffee and cake!

After walking along Princes Street I got the bus home by which time I had over 10,000 steps.
