Lest We Forget...

It is ANZAC Day... a very special day for New Zealanders and Australians. Early this morning after my walk I called in to Seymour Square where the RSA have placed hundreds of white crosses in the many garden plots, each cross is in remembrance of a serviceman killed in the two World Wars. It is a very poignant sight. Every year on ANZAC Day we commemorate those who served our countries starting from the Gallipoli landings in Ww1.
